RECENT PROJECTS

As a result of exploring unconventional genres,

my work appears in unconventional places.

RENNIES

Log Line

A young squire must lead a revolution of non-SAG peasants, catch an unauthorized Town Leper, and win the heart of the Golden Knight to keep the Renaissance Faire from being canceled.

Format

“Rennies” is THE OFFICE meets GAME OF THRONES. But instead of being filmed as a documentary, Rennies is told through the eyes of camera phones. Every spring, hundreds of thousands of people attend the Renaissance Faire. Between family photos, selfies, and video footage, there is not one inch of the faire not being captured. Rennies collects this footage and splices it together to create a new form of intimate storytelling. This approach shows how the patrons of the faire are just as dramatic as the knights, royalty, and wizards in the faire.
